EXPERTISE
Delivery & Reliability
Production-ready delivery with automated pipelines, observability, and a focus on resilience and performance.
What this looks like in practice
- CI/CD pipelines with build, test, scan, and deploy gates
- Containerized development and production environments
- GitOps-driven deployment and infrastructure as code
- Observability: logs, metrics, traces, and alerting that people actually look at
- Incident response practices and on-call that doesn't burn teams out
- Performance and capacity planning before it's an emergency
How I approach it
A deployment should be a non-event. That means the path from a merged pull request to production is scripted, tested, and identical every time — not a checklist someone follows from memory at 5pm on a Friday.
Observability is built in from the start, not bolted on after the first outage. If a system can't tell you what it's doing, it isn't finished, no matter how well it works when nobody's watching.
Reliability is a budget, not a slogan. I help teams decide how much resilience a given system actually needs, build to that bar deliberately, and keep the operational load sustainable for the people carrying the pager.
